What is the pricing at your assisted living facilities?
Pricing starts around $4,200 in Kiel and Luxemburg and $4,500 in Algoma per month and is dependent on how much assistance a resident needs. The more asssitance, the higher the monthly price. We cannot provide a price until an assessment is done. During an assessment, we create a care plan which coorelates to a monthly price. Monthly rates are not locked in for any period of time and change as levels of care change. We will ALWAYS provide 30 days written notice for a rate increase or decrease.
What services do you provide?
Staff members are available and AWAKE 24/7 to provide assistance and supervision with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and toileting.
Do you manage medications?
Yes! We will help manage and administer your medications. We can administer oral medications, suppositories, ointments, creams, inhalers, eye drops, nebulizers, insulin, and test blood sugars.
What's included in the room?
We provide a twin bed, a night stand, and a dresser. We also have linens, blankets, wash cloths, and towels. We are happy to supply a pillow, but recommend bringing one for home for added comfort.
Who does the housekeeping and laundry?
We do the housekeeping and the laundry. Typically, clothing and bedding is laundered on shower day and clothing is washed again a few days later. Housekeeping is also done on shower day.
Is food included?
Yes, we take care of the food. Three home cooked meals per day as well as nutritional snacks. Check out our "Menu" page for a sample menu.
What isn't included?
We do not provide any personal care supplies, such as briefs, wipes, shampoo or body wash. We provide TV and a telephone for use in shared common areas, but TV and phone in rooms is provided by the resident.
